Happy OOOOoooo Halloween

This is Jodi and Gary's 26th Annual Halloween Party and it just keeps getting better every year.

They go all out! Catered Food, Bartender, Awards for best Costumes, Live Music, Karaoke,
and this year Elvis was in the house! He was wonderful.

My hubby was a Cone Head from Saturday Night Live, I went as Pebbles from the Flintstones,
and I dragged my best bud,  Liddie, with me and she dressed up like a Spider. A sexy spider ;)

I even won second place for best female costume.  Take a peek. It was a lot of fun.

New Orleans

My best bud and I took a road trip to Louisiana so Liddie could show me her home town and for us to also meet up with my other best bud, Terrell, who was working in New Orleans.

I also meet up with Bill Fox, one of the other
49er staff photographers again after 28 years.
We are both from Novato, Ca.
What a wonderfully small world we live in.

This was my first visit to Louisiana and I must say it's quite different than Cali, my home town. I don't think you would ever find Alligator on the menu back home. I loved the swamps and the small home town feel of Kinder, LA.

New Orleans was a blast. We visited art galleries, a little shopping and Bourbon street to taste those famous Hurricane drinks at Pat O'Briens.

Next we were off to photograph the 49er and Saints game. I think I had more fun photographing the sidelines and close ups of the players then the actual action shots.  The only thing that would have made the trip better was if the Niner's won.  I want my old team back. lol

DPPA's Little Red Schoolhouse

Dallas Professional Photographers Association hosts "Little Red Schoolhouse" every year and it is a blast. It's a two day seminar  taught by the top professionals in our field plus a mini trade show.

This year our instructor was the fabulous Bruce Dorn. His specialty is dance images. He is an amazing,  fun, wonderful man. Who else would give me a piggy back ride when my shoes were hurting and the cement was too hot to walk on barefoot!  lol

What also made this so special was that I organized it. I couldn't have done it without the help of my best bud Liddie.  She did all the marketing.  And put this video together. Thanks Liddie!

Watch the video to see how much fun we had.  Not only was it a seminar but I planned a dinner/dance too. We got have fun right?
